La Bussola is an adventerous art and gift boutique. The store is located next to A Salon 7 in the SODO district of Reno. The downtown area is under major redevelopment by the city of Reno...they are making tremendous strides to make it a killer place to vacation. We also fall within the Arts and Culture district boundaries of Northern Nevada...there are beautiful kinetic scupltures, up and down the street and a state of the art museum about 5 blocks up . We wish to offer art that is accessible to all people. We are not your traditional gallery...we love kids to touch, we want to answer your questions and let you explore and be inspired. We are also home to the intimate "Center Gallery". We offer new shows monthly of new and emerging artists in Northern Nevada. Over 80% of the stores merchandise is provided by artists/crafters who happily sell their work on consignment and /or wholesale.

Goal:
To provide a venue for artists to show and sell their artwork. We strive to be a store with exceptional service and one that you will love to tell your friends and customers about.

Terms:
Consignment: 50/50 split
The artist determines the price they would like to get for a given item. This is with the understanding that the item will be marked up by 50%. In some cases it is easier to figure out the retail price and then figure out the split. Please be realistic about price as we want to be a store that actually makes sales.

Who We Are:
Together we are 2 artists who want to live life while pursuing artistic endeavors. We launched our own gift company a few years ago and understand the desire to make money while doing what you love. The opportunity to own La Bussola was a dream that pretty much dropped out of the sky. We have many ideas for La Bussola and would love any and all input.
